Today we headed down to @heartfoundationau headquarters to meet Katie and the General Manager Adam. We were invited to have a photo with this amazing huge chq with the end figure of what we raised written on it for the @_avcthelabel 40km @ 40 fundraiser. It seems surreal that we were able to raise this much!! Huge Thankyou to all our sponsors and to all those who donated, you are all incredible!! I still can’t even believe I’m doing this, raising money for the heart foundation to help fund life saving research for heart disease. It’s very bitter sweet. Just the fact I’m able to conduct these fundraisers and how proud I am to do it, but then the realisation of why I’m doing it then weighs in.
