@odenseyecosmetics just announced their new holiday release, so I wanted to share swatches. I received these in PR, thank you for sending them my way! The aesthetic they went for here reminds me of how over the top my Ukrainian grandmother and dad went for Christmas every year while I was growing up. It was also the only time of year that a lot of us would get together. Sooooo much good traditional Ukrainian food. Anyways, all that to say, I’m normally not a huge fan of specifically Christmas themed holiday releases, but this aesthetic makes me think of fond memories with family that is no longer around. So, I’m really into it here. I also really like the color stories. Christmas Eve’s color story has a lot of grungy cool tones, which I’ve been really into lately, and the multichrome in it is nearly a rainbow. Merry Christmas’ color story has lots of greens, which I can never get sick of. 💀💚 I also especially love the pink shimmer in Merry Christmas, it’s a fun contrast with everything else. I’ve only used each of them a couple times so far, but I’ve had a good time with the shadows I’ve gotten to use. So far everything has blended and layered well. The multichrome in each of them is a smooth/glowy/shifty kinda finish, not a sparkly/textured/shifty finish.
