You know, my dear friend @danielscottyoga gave me a lot to think about the other day. He was commenting on how my existence is bigger than the sexuality I share on social media. It made me think about how when I express my sexuality it impacts other people in a way that is out of my control. I think this lack of control is why many people repress their sexuality. It’s certainly part of why I have repressed my own. Fear. Control. The Unknown. I didn’t try to explain this to him, but expressing who I am as a divine erotic being is my birth rite. It’s what Audre Lorde was talking about in Sister Outsider. It is the epicenter of our power. It’s what white supremacy is so afraid of. That’s why I didn’t try to explain it to my friend. I’m remembering what Master P said on that one track on “A Seat At The Table”. “If you don’t understand my record, you don’t understand me so this is not for you.” That’s how I feel about my sexuality. If you don’t understand why I create this art, then you don’t understand me so this is not For You. #yoga #whitesupremacy
