⏰ Save the date! Arches Timed Entry is coming to a close. Starting October 4, 2022 you will no longer need a Timed Entry Ticket to enter @archesnps So what? I’m visiting Canyonlands! Both Arches and Canyonlands will be B-U-S-Y this fall, so it’s important to plan ahead. To relieve congestion during peak visitation, Arches may temporarily delay entries into the park, which can increase crowds at Canyonlands. If you plan to visit in October, be prepared for 1-2 hour long waits to enter certain parts of Canyonlands, like Island in the Sky district. These lines are typically longest mid-morning. To avoid long waits, arrive before 9 am or after 2 pm. Want to avoid crowds as best you can? Try visiting our friends at Manti-La Sal National Forest, Dead Horse Point State Park, or some of the Bureau of Land Management lands that surround Moab.
