As a skincare brand, we⁠ understand that it isn’t just products that help you feel⁠ grounded. #TuneIn allows you to share what rituals help you⁠ feel tuned in to yourself.⁠ ⁠ This week, we asked our Koa social media manager @biancacuriel what she does to #TuneIn.⁠ ⁠ What does it mean to tune in?⁠ As an anxious person, it can be extremely difficult to tune into my own body. For me, tuning in means coming to a stop both mentally and physically, and taking time to check in with myself. Stopping can be hard, really hard, especially since everything seems to be moving faster these days. But stopping, putting everything down, and granting myself rest and relaxation is how I tune into my body in order to keep moving forward.⁠ ⁠ When do you feel most tuned in?⁠ As someone who works remotely, it’s become hard to feel tuned in to myself at home. Blending both your workspace and home can become very mentally confusing I’ve found. Nowadays, I’ve made an effort to make time for myself and my partner away from the noise. Whether that be in nature or another city, escaping your responsibilities for a bit and finding peace in the new and unknown is how I tune in. ⁠ ⁠ What’s one thing you do to help tune in?⁠ Once again, as an anxious person, tuning in is REALLY HARD. My brain is like a cork board filled with haphazardly written notes, so practicing mindfulness has helped a lot with prioritizing my needs and tuning into myself. To tune in, I like to lie down, pay attention to my breathing, and mentally take down each note until the cork board is blank, then I can really relax.⁠ ⁠ #livingkoa
