We hadn’t seen each other in years and sat down and talked for a couple of hours. Eric and I climbed the North America Wall together in 1977. Eric is one of the most influential people in my life. He asked me to go to Yosemite with him in 74 and had advised and helped me since then. We got together yesterday and it didn’t seem like a day had passed in our attitudes and friendship.
