What a blessing it is to not only be so deeply loved by our Lord but also to be used by Him to fulfill such a beautiful purpose! I have no words for what an amazing experience this past month on Work Crew has been. The only way I can begin to explain it is so uniquely designed by God. Currently, I feel like Peter when Jesus leads him to a mountain where Elijah and Moses appear (Mark 9: 2-6). Just like Peter, I want to remain in this picture of Heaven that I have witnessed forever. But God has given me an experience that has provided me so much growth that I will bring into the real world, a world of broken people who need to know that they belong to a perfect God. Throughout this experience, I saw the abundance of Christ in everything. It has truly opened my eyes to the fact that He is not just present in a place like this, but He is present everywhere in every second of every day. He is the constant that we can always rely on. I am overjoyed to say that over 400 lost people ran home to Christ in the past three weeks at Lake Champion. How amazing is that?! The works of our God are miraculous and truly can only be done by Him! Thank you to everyone who made this experience so special! Truly amazing people who are images of Christ’s love were placed in my life this past month. So here’s to girts, around 15 miles walked every day, “aigoo”, flooded bathrooms, “down with Autumn”, pickup soccer games, dirt pudding, Donald Duck, Ms. Jackson, Noro Virus, and so much more. God, you are so so good!
