Who wore it better treasure troll edition 😈 It’s been 2 years since my last chemo. It’s been a rollercoaster. This past June I finally felt like a normal functioning human. I’ve been making breakthroughs in my mental health, started lifting weights, finally figured out the best job fit for me post cancer treatments. It’s normal to feel scattered, depressed, anxious, and lost post treatment but it gets better and I wish 2020 Kim new that! I’m glad I’m here, I’m grateful for life, Cheers to another year down! And ALWAYS eat the cake! If you have a mastectomy going flat is a good option not a last resort. It’s not weird. It’s not unfeminine. It’s not a bad choice you will regret. It’s not just for old ladies. When I was deciding I could not find flat pictures of young women. It was hard to find somebody my age to ask! This is why I have put this out there. We need the representation and better support all around for this decision. I got questioned soooo many times if this is what I wanted. If it would have been reconstruction I highly doubt I would have been questioned as hard as I was. If you’ve been through treatments from cancer go to therapy. It doesn’t mean you’re weak. It doesn’t mean you’re a failure. You’ve been through a lot and need a safe space to heal and grow. I’ve been in therapy for a year and a half now. I had to fight to get a referral but I’m doing better now. Don’t be scared to get help. And lastly for the love of everything good do monthly self exams and advocate for yourself!” 🏔️ #WAHTMM
