When collaborating with you, I’m a better human and I walk away feeling a sense of elated satisfaction; My soul is full. ID: The hand of the angel Gabriel reaches out in a purple leather glove to place a shiny black object into the mouth of "Moses," staged as Perel. Perel's eyes are closed and anguished, while their tattooed hand grabs Gabriel's wrist in both desire and revulsion. The image of Perel is framed from the chest up, with their white skin showing, there is a vague imprint of a tattoo on their bare chest. Featured as part of the group exhibition, “Broken” with seven other international Jewish artists in this program. Crip Prophetics: “Burned and Broken” is a photographic series drawing from the “mamiming” stories of Moses and Jacob to transmute their bodies into vessels for the divine.
