Busy. A word circling around me like background noise I didn’t choose, yet somehow dance to. Everyone keeps asking what’s next, and for a while, I kept answering. The past few weeks between NYC and Germany reminded me how different “busy” can look. In the U.S., it’s a badge of honor. In my circle in Europe, a “warning” sign. One glorifies the grind, the other values time with loved ones. I’m somewhere in between, still learning to share my life more openly as a way of sharing love and appreciation for the people around me. Truth is, I’m grateful. Grateful that my life can be full, if I choose it to be. And while everyone talks about what’s next, I catch myself doing the same. Wanting to share my upcoming EP on @love.letter.label , late nights with friends & family, and quieter moments with loved ones. Then I pause. Why talk about what’s next when I’m not done with right now? The future will happen, it always does. So, what if we stay here for now? Maybe the magic is in not rushing it. My food’s getting cold, and I had something to tell you. Just stay a moment and enjoy these last few weeks of my “busy” life between gigs and quality time.
