Lip Tattoo for a Male Client I was really excited to work on my first male client. Our only goal for the appointment was to lighten the darker areas of his lips. We can’t wait for these healed results. For my client, we kept the shape the same. The only concern was the darkness. I used colour correcting pigment that once healed, will lighten the darkness in his lips. His lips will also be more even toned. For these Dark Lip Neutralization procedures, the results immediately after can be bright and very peachy. This only lasts for the first few days. Around days 3-5 the lips will go through a peeling stage. After this peeling process, the bright peachy colour really fades to look a lot more natural. For Dark Lip Neutralization cases, they are usually a multi step process. Depending on the client, it can take up to 2-4 appointments to reach the final target colour. However, with every appointment you will achieve noticeably lighter and more even toned lips. If Dark Lip Neutralization is a procedure you would like to have, it is better to start sooner than later as it is a time commitment. Appointments need to be scheduled at least 6 weeks apart.
