Times Square Arts is proud to present ‘Patrón Mono: Ríos Libres, Pueblos Vivos’ by Carolina Caycedo [@lacaycedo] as September’s #MidnightMoment! ▫️ Co-presented with @thearmoryshow and @institutodevision, ‘Patrón Mono: Ríos Libres, Pueblos Vivos’ by Colombian artist Carolina Caycedo brings flowing water and glittering gold to the screens of Times Square every night in September from 11:57pm to midnight, following the fate of waterways across North and South America. ▫️ A continuation of the artist’s ‘Water Portraits’, #PatrónMono centers on the lower Cauca River canyon in Antioquia, Colombia 🇨🇴 – a region currently impacted by the Hidroituango dam failure and where armed and environmental conflict overlap.
