People say to me “Bob, you do not have any political experience. How can you be Mayor?” This is true. I have never been a politician. I am a businessman. I built my media business from the ground up. But, business and politics are not that different. As a business owner, I had to solve problems for my customers, grow sales, reinvest into the business, and balance the books. Business is about solving your customers problems and politics is about solving your city’s problems. Patrick Brown and Nikki Kaur have never built a business from the ground up. They’ve never solved a problem for someone else. They don’t know how the world actually works. The only problems they are solving, are their own. I have spent my entire life working in business. Patrick Brown has never worked in business and he has never worked professionally as a lawyer. Except for a 4 month internship at Magna when he was in law school. He was not hired when his intership ended. He knows he does not have the experience to make a living outside of politics, so he makes his money through corruption and insider deals at city hall. Nikki Kaur has worked as a lawyer. But her law practice was not very successful. She still lives at home with her parents. She took civil service jobs that Patrick Brown offered her at city hall, even though she was not qualified for them. Like Patrick Brown, Nikki Kaur can not make money the honest way. She needs to use corrupt politics to get posts in government. Patrick Brown and Nikki Kaur are corrupt City Hall insiders who could never make a living outside of politics. I am proud that I have no experience as a politician. I learned how to make money the honest way first. Brampton needs an outsider at City Hall. Brampton needs a fresh start. This coming Monday on October 24th, elect me, Bob Dosanjh Singh as your next mayor of Brampton, and together, we will get #Brampton working again.
