Navigating this new chapter of co-parenting has been a journey, filled with challenges and growth. Reestablishing a home for my son in a place that still feels unfamiliar is tough, but my focus is on giving him the best life I can by being the most loving, attentive father possible. The nights when he’s just minutes away but not under my roof pull at my heart, but I know this new dynamic is what’s best for us all. Learning, adapting, and finding peace in the hope of building a friendship with his mother—this is the path we’re on. As Rumi said, “The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”
