Quite possibly our favorite photo of the Tzo. Seen are the class of 2019, recent grads now, but mere doolies then. These were the opening moments of their Recognition weekend. It’s a blend of chaos and beauty, and it captures a piece of recognition you don’t see too often. It’s the big picture. Upperclassmen pushing their youngest troops past their limits so they can grow into stronger, better people and hopefully earn their Prop and Wings. The third panel video captures another aspect on a smaller but still meaningful scale. After recognition, an exhausted TO who pushed his doolies every day up to this point cannot help but close his eyes and rest for a moment. The sheer amount of work he put in for his doolies, the time, energy, and heart he gave to make recognition what is was is something they will never forget. They laughed then, but deep down, they now know why he’s dozing off. He gave them everything he had. As grads, we look at this and have strong confidence that he did it right. 📸 @heidi.liles
