SCRIPTURE: Mark 3:27 ```"No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house."``` Beloved, spiritual warfare is not optional. Whether you like it or not, there is a battle over your life, your family, and your destiny. Satan has no mercy, and he will never willingly release what he has stolen. This is why Jesus gave us a spiritual principle, before you can take back what belongs to you, you must first bind the strong man. Hallelujah 🙏🙌🔥 A strong man in scripture is not just an ordinary demon. It is a high-ranking spirit with authority over a territory, a family line, or a specific area of your life. Strong men control “houses,” meaning they rule over domains. They have “armor,” which represents the spiritual protection and demonic covenants they rely on. They keep “goods,” which are blessings, destinies, finances, marriages, and opportunities stolen from the lives of men. Luke 11:21-22 tells us that the strong man is fully armed and guards his palace, but when a stronger one comes, he takes away the armor in which he trusted and divides the spoil. That stronger one is Christ in you. Without Him, you cannot break the grip of these oppressors. Strong men can manifest in many forms. Family idols that have been served for generations can be strong men. Ancestral covenants made by forefathers can empower strong men. Territorial spirits that rule over cities and regions can be strong men. Habitual sins and addictions like lust, anger, bitterness, drunkenness, and laziness can be strong men. Occult and witchcraft spirits can be strong men. Spirits of delay, stagnation, and poverty can also operate as strong men, keeping entire families trapped in cycles of struggle and shame. These strong men are oppressors. They set boundaries on destinies and declare that you will not cross over. They attack marriages, scatter businesses, delay breakthroughs, and steal health. They can make a person work hard but remain empty. They are behind mysterious losses, constant disappointments, and unexplained battles. They also operate through dreams like when you see spirits chasing you as snakes or dogs, defiling you sexually, making you see dead relatives, pressing you down in your sleep, or causing you to lose valuables. All these are signs that a strong man may be at work in your life. Binding the strong man requires spiritual strategy. First, you must submit completely to God. James 4:7 says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” *Without submission to God, there can be no victory* . Next, you must identify the strong man you are dealing with. Then you must break their armor by destroying every legal right they have over you through repentance, the Word, and the blood of Jesus. After that, engage in aggressive prayer. *Prayer is the rope that binds the strong man and renders him powerless* . Invoke the name of Jesus because Philippians 2:10 tells us that at the name of Jesus every knee must bow. Finally, occupy the territory you have recovered with the presence of God. If you do not fill the space, the enemy will return stronger, as Jesus warned in Matthew 12:43-45. Beloved, you cannot negotiate with a strong man. You must bind him, strip him, and plunder his goods. Your strength is not in your flesh but in the Spirit of God. Stand in your God-given authority, confront the enemy, and take back everything that belongs to you. Victory is yours in Jesus name.
