If you had told little Julian he’d have his own tv show at 43 he would have giggled and laughed and then forgot all about it. Being an actor was never my dream. I grew up being told I could never be an actor because I was Asian. My dream was always to help kids and make an impact on their education by directing a show like Sesame Street or Reading Rainbow. I wanted to be Jim Henson. I wanted to promote reading to open up the eyes of their imagination. MY DREAM has always been to make a positive impact on children by making the intersection of the arts and education accessible to every child. I went to Interlochen Arts Camp that was ‘Dedicated To The Promotion Of World Friendship Through The Universal Language Of The Arts,’ and have taken this with me throughout my life. I am so gratefu to introduce ‘Roca-Chow,’ an analog show in a digital world that helps kids to create a safe space in their homes with song, storytelling and the power of their imagination. And the two guys in the second picture. TRUE LEGENDS. @jollwerther and @riddimjack - Google them and you’ll see why. Without the support of these two ‘Roca-Chow’ would never have become a reality. It was never even on my radar. ❤️❤️❤️ Sometimes life pushes you in a direction you never expected but I’m so glad it did. I get to work with people I love and adore and look up to - like my director @daniellugo767, my RESIDENT MAGICIAN (he hates when I call him that) @andre.armenante, my production team @sineadinproduction @tylothedino @matthewmovie, my fiancé @rich_preffer is the production designer, @manaerys our art director. I also get to share the same space and create with some of the most amazing artists (ARTISTS) @lisaloeb @lorenallred @thenickydoll @missshugacain @sixfoot_5 @farroy @legendofzeus and the amazing Marc Acito and the amazing @jasminericenyc who I adore to bits. To wrap this up as this has become a Michener novel of the social world.
