It’s time to shift the focus from celebrating the holidays to celebrating how far you’ve come in 2022. ⁣ ⁣ Expansion, growth, and curiosity are hardwired into our DNA. We can’t help but seek new opportunities and new experiences. So I can say with full confidence that, in some way, you have certainly evolved this year.⁣ ⁣ Unfortunately, most of our default settings will cause us to think we could have done more, made more, are still behind, and simply aren’t at the point where we feel pleased enough with ourselves to acknowledge where we’re at. And that couldn’t be further from the truth. Nor is it the kind of thinking that serves you in the long run.⁣ ⁣ Validating your experiences and recognizing the hurdles you’ve overcome, and goals you’ve met are critical to resilience. When you catalogue your growth, you can face harder, more challenging things because you recognize what you’ve been able to overcome and achieve in your past.⁣ ⁣ This isn’t just about a pat on the back for surviving the year. It’s about contemplating the barriers you face and how you’ve risen above them without a second thought. ⁣ ⁣ Sometimes, survival mode means anticipating the next potential challenge without pausing to realize what just happened and how strong it made us.⁣ ⁣ So please take a moment. Look back at the last 12 months. Recognize what could have taken you out or pulled you down but didn’t. You are a victor. And more importantly, you are now armed with the capacity to face more, overcome greater, and access new levels of your potential in 2023.⁣ ⁣ Never underestimate what you’ve been through and what you’re capable of.
