That would be the real W. This is a great example on why its so important for all people to learn #introspection skills and how to understand and #cope with their #feelings. When you tell a child theyre not allowed to think and feel the way they do because they need to be a “man”, you then have grown men who cant understand how they think and feel. Grown men who because they cant understand how they think and feel, dont catch their cognitive bias’s or have a deeper comprehension behind their behaviour and beliefs. Men whose entire identitiy/self esteem relies on their masculinity- which is innately fragile because its a social construct based on what others think you should and shouldnt be, rather than who you are. When your self concept is based on something out of your control, you find other things you can control to provide the sense of security and stability that you lack internally. Aka women. Preferable the most vulnerable, inexperienced and obedient ones, whose identity and self esteem you can take control of because you dont get your own. Thats your version of “loyalty” and “wife material”. This is all textbook fragile masculinity. Its very easy to see through subtle behaviours who this applies to. Ask one of these dudes a few empathetic questions that would apply to that arachtype and next thing you know its “omg how did you know that” “you get me” “ive never thought about it like that” “no one gets me like you”. No sir, this is all very obvious just looking at you, and its very common. The problem is once youve had that break through they will fall back into it when their #ego is triggered again, and it takes years and years and years for dudes to practise and unlearn the absuive and subconscious #masculinity chokehold they’re under and spreading. So dont wait around, because only they are capable of being motivated to do that work internally. #sexism
