artistic getaway with my fav boy band @soyboystheband to an idyllic french landscape or how did i get here? (or a love letter to my fav boy band that you all should follow) before uploading these pics i went through the @soyboystheband ig (which is not that crowded, GUYS) and i realized that month after month, year after year, i saw them changing. it’s been difficult to notice that while being present in those moments too, but now - retrospectively speaking - i realize that not only have i seen them grow older as we all do: i also managed to capture their growth as an aspiring band and - likewise important - as a caring group of friends that is a strong foundation for their band. it has been a great pleasure and honor to be able to get to know them closer to which my status as a girlfriend of the guitar player owes quite a lot without a doubt. i remember the first photoshoot we had - none of us felt comfortable. fast forward to 3 yrs later and i’m quietly observing their brain-wrecking songwriting sessions that later in the day would follow up with carefree fooling around in the french landscape. i don’t have that much to be proud of at the moment, but the fact that they have trusted me & continue to do so is my biggest accomplishment at this point. thank you for giving me an opportunity to follow my old dream to be a band photographer while i am capturing you realizing your dreams as a band. my biggest love to my biggest boy band that i can’t wait to hang out with again this weekend at @restinpaais . love forever, your friend&fan + photographer + manager 💛
