So when The Rug Company asks us if we would like to custom design not one but two rugs for our Kips Bay Show house Dallas spaces we were in heaven! We designed these 2 rugs within matter of days - from conceptualizing to sketch these 2 rugs were born just by picking threads at the @therugcompany show room in LA. No time for strike off! And the rest was left up to the weavers of the Rug company. Not only they nailed it but they nailed the “Chocolate Bordeaux “ ( thank you @_cocostyle for the name) and the “Saffron” colored rug. The execution of the fluted edge on the primary bathroom rug is exactly what we had in mind and that tufted 100 silk rug in the closet was just divine.
