This day last year we married under this beautiful pine tree in Los Feliz. Our court date was pushed due to Covid so we found a nice guy to officiate our marriage. We were surrounded by jasmine and succulents. Smiling ear to ear(covered by our masks) we took in the views of the Los Feliz hills, breathing in the recent bloom of the jasmine. We were now married!! We left to celebrate by picking up the keys to our new home. A day we will never forget. Their was something about sitting under that mature pine tree that made me think of my life. The root being my heart and the branches my life’s journey, each reaching long and high like my dreams. In my dreams was a man who would share and create our life dreams, together. I’m so incredibly grateful for the love and respect that Pablo and I show each other. A daily level of awareness of deep conversations and showing each other love to keep the branches of our life growing. I’m rooted in our love.
