For as long as I can remember, the dining table has been a place for me to create, facilitate and partake in magic. It’s the space where the heart and the mouth speak. Where we put down our phones, our egos and simply enjoy what it means to be nourished. After gathering people for years, I decided I wanted to create a collection where everything on the table was made by hands I love. So quietly and slowly, in off hours and late nights, I’ve been working to design a line of products made by hand and by heart with the most aligned creators I could find. It is with so much joy that I announce @burntthistleceramics as our first @thecosmicfig collaboration. Each plate is 100% made by hand with no two a like (and somehow still dishwasher safe!). Caroline infuses so much love into each design, hand sketching directly onto the clay and painting with simple strokes. She’s become a good friend through this process and together we’ve fallen in love with the symbology of scarabs, roses and the night sky (with a few cosmic digs thrown in there of course).
