If only building muscle was that easy😭😂 what is one of the most important factors for building muscle?!⤵️ It isn’t completing one rep, a certain supplement, protein shake, one certain exercise, or an exact workout routine: the most important factor if your goal is to add muscle 🍑💪🏼 is consistency. Building muscle is not easy, and if you’re not training consistently-your body figures it doesn’t need to grow or react as these aren’t movements your body deals with regularly. Muscles need to be given a CLEAR reason to grow: and this is why we emphasize progressive overload (which is the amount of stress on the body that is gradually increased over time). Your body will only develop new tissue when workout demands are significant (aka you are progressing in weight, form, control, stamina etc) and periodically increased (in form of sets, reps, weight etc): which is why following a program or a certain workout routine for a period of time allows for more muscle growth as you can give your muscles a clear reason to react as you are preforming the same movements over and over. As always on top of consistency: fueling your muscles (Aka eating all the foods🌮🥙🍱) and giving your body rest is so important to repair muscle tears, fuel your body, and grow!
