LA mural/billboard Install in progress! 🌞🌻 For several months we’ve been working hard with @tmrcesar, @zandiebrockett, @carlosjmendez @neuehouse to materialize this 88 feet long mural in Hollywood in LA. You can catch it at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and N. El Centro Ave 🌝 Thank you for navigating all the process of putting up a billboard poderoso como este with all the city permits, obstacles and long conversations. And thank you for believing that we have the power to make the visual culture we want to see. Thank you to the install team, the production team and every single person that has helped made this possible 🙏🏽 When they approached me we talked about large scale images in public spaces, and the power these images could have in people’s imaginary if we went beyond the typical advertisement industry. It is always a dream of mine to see more Black & Brown, queer and Trans, migrant bodies taking up space in public space.
