Have a perv of our Tasmanian friends Peco Wines... Tasmania vino is having moment right now but Hannah and Ben's project you probably haven't heard about with only 200 cases of wine in 2021. Growing fruit and winemaking is in Hannah's blood via their family’s Swinging Gate estate and most of their fruit is sourced from the SG vineyard in the Tamar Valley with small amounts from nearby parcels. Made in the most natural manner, with no additions at any stage, here we have the Wild Child. Pinot aged in in kvevri (big clay amphora style vessels stored underground) for 5 months. Giving off blackberry, red apple and dark plum flavours. Also subtle turned earth, truffle and leafy forest vibes. We also have The Picnic, a triple P rated blend of Pinot Blanc/Gris/Noir all equal parts and 5 days skin contact then co-fermented. Aged in stainless steel with notes of freesia, watermelon & green gage plum. Grab one and drink the Tassie cool aid 🤌🏼
