In the most obvious sense we all know how to throw a body a way- whether that's throwing a limb consciously in one direction or forgetting your body is active and aware 24/7, and choosing to not mind it minds, reacts/responds to every thing we do and think. Together we will explore the tension and release of this interconnectivity; we will also do some strengthening practices because this is of course a practice towards potential and inner outer progression. There is a space inside us that's much wider than we are led to believe. We are taught to live & lead by the mind; but what carries, excites, stabilizes, cleans, digests, moves us? Through embodiment practices, making dance and choreographic games we will explore lessons the body may reveal and movement outside our perceived limitations.
