We are so proud of Street Soccer USA young leaders TJ Nurudeen and Ailyn Lopez who helped NY/NJ accept their role hosting the #FIFA2026 World Cup! TJ, from Claremont Village in the Bronx, and Ailyn from #sunsetpark , #brooklyn preceded @govmurphy and @nycmayor Adams moments before NY/NJ was announced as a host city on live TV. It's wonderful recognition for our #StreetSoccer Movement, that TJ who with five of his teammates are headed to college in the Fall, and Aiyln, who will travel to Qatar in October as part of Street Soccer USA's girl national team for the Street Child World Cup, were singled out for their achievements on and off the field to celebrate the world's greatest sporting event coming to Mexico, Canada, and the United States. The greatest outcome will be a world where every child can grow and develop as part of supportive team--that's the Street Soccer USA vision we're working to realize everyday.
