‘Giants’ is a large scale illustration commissioned by @syrupmagazine for a community based exhibition at Southwark Heritage Centre and Walworth Library. This piece reflects on the on the historical and current inhabitants of Southwark and theme ‘work’. See comments for accompanying copy written in collaboration with Jessi Lee Clayton. Photo ID: Image 1 - Five large statuelike figures are bending over backwards with their chests pressing upwards to the sky. They are positioned using a one point perspective to the left. The figures lower arms and legs appear as if they are buried below ground. They are blue/grey with a texture like stone. Another statuelike figure is positioned behind and to the left of the others. This one is dancing whilst looking over its shoulder and reaching its arm out to the right. A peach seashore and blue sea fills the bottom half of the page whilst a blue, pink and peach gradient sky fills the top. A low white sun sets on the horizon.
