Incredibly honoured to be the UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR 2022! No puedo creer haber sido oficialmente nombrado con el máximo reconocimiento en el más importante concurso de fotografía submarina, este año seré el “Underwater Photographer of the year”. Un premio que siempre he visto con admiración y como algo realmente difícil de conseguir. Y sin duda, junto al mundial es el reconocimiento más importante que he recibido en toda mi vida. Además, he obtenido los premios de mejor foto en categoría angular, y dos premios “Highly commended” y “commended” por otras dos imágenes tomadas en Baja California. En pocas horas perderemos la conexión hasta el 1 de marzo y pasaremos unos increíbles días en la Antártida, una pena no poder celebrarlo con todos los que me habéis apoyado, pero una alegría estar viviéndolo de esta manera en el fin del mundo. Muchas gracias a todos los que lo habéis hecho posible. Familiares, amigos y marcas que me apoyan cada día y sin los cuales no habría cabida para todo esto. En especial agradecer a @blueforcefleet y @gadormunta con los que tome la fotografía ganadora en Maldivas. A @aqualung por permitirme hacerlo con el mejor material de buceo del mundo. Perhaps the most important recognition of my life. Also, I have been lucky enough to have been awarded with the best Wide angle picture and also one “highly commended” and a “commended” recognition for other two pictures taken in Baja California. I will be offline in a few hours until march heading Antarctica. I wanted to thank to all my friends and family and of course the brands that support me and that believed in me.
