for everyone hosting thanksgiving! my favorite turkey recipe: 14 lb turkey Salt and pepper inside and outside of turkey Rub butter outside / under skin and add 2 tbs inside Stuff turkey will thyme, rosemary, 1/2 an apple, half a sweet onion, orange slices, celery, sage Add thyme outside Fill bottom of roasting pan with fennel, shallots, 2 sweet onions cut into quarts, 2 apples cut into quarters, orange slices, garlic Bake at 350 drop to 325 half way through for 3.5 hours baste every 30 minutes This makes the most AMAZING tasting drippings for gravy and the turkey tastes so good this way
