I AM SO ANGRY ... and WHY ARE Y’ALL STILL SUPPORTING THIS FOOL? Just like him "reappropriating" the confederate flag for his tour merch years ago or him claiming that slavery was a choice, this too is so beyond very fucking dangerous and misses the whole entire point of what BLM stands for here. Once again his actions continue to be so detrimental for Black [Brown and Indigenous] culture, as he also continues to mask them as ideas bred out of him being a "genius". THIS IS NOT 'GENIUS'. Nothing about this statement is. This is so insanely ignorant and upsetting. [AND standing next to Candace Owens no less!!!] Images of him embracing 45 in that fucking red hat immediately come flooding back, and I feel sick to my stomach. ... and my deep disdain for this man who shares my day of birth continues. And if you don't think this type of language and action isn't [TRULY] detrimental to Black, Brown and Indigenous folk, why don't you get in touch w/ my Brother in Law [who is El Salvadorian and looks a myriad of beautiful Brown cultures] who was dragged out of a bar last summer in NoCal by 45’s supporters, beaten to a pulp and left in a field to die like an animal because of how he looks.... And then had to get a reconstructive plate put in his face because of what they did to him. Talk to him first, then come find me after, and THEN we'll have a serious conversation about all this.
