Little Miss Brown & Proud. ✨ It was the summer of ‘99 and my grandpa had bought me a tee that said “Chicana Pride” from a mom and pop shop in the Northridge Mall. I was so excited to wear my Chicana tee. I wore it til it was faded and stretched out lol I wore it to school once. A few of my peers laughed, some thought it was dope, and some asked me “what’s Chicana pride?” I remember answering “Proud to be me.” Here I am, 20 something years later, building a brand that says just that.
