Abdominoplasty results! My approach is: Pay attention to the details and the patient’s unique anatomy! Everyone’s waistlines vary, shape of the pelvis, height and shape of their native belly button, areas of stubborn fat, and desired final aesthetic. I do my best to keep the scar extremely low, so even very thin panties or bikinis (as shown) can be worn without the scar showing. Recreating natural aesthetics with the belly button are also super key! Many times, a tummy tuck can look “pulled” so the skin appears too tight. I’ve met some consultations where the patient is years out from their original surgery and has persistent pain and inability to fully stand upright. In my opinion, a tummy tuck should help you become MORE functional (especially with a DR repair) not LESS. We are LOVING this patient’s 3 month results!
