Foiling hack:⁠ ⁠ When taking your section of hair make sure you leave at least a fingers width (or two if you have tiny fingers) on the edge of your foil. ⁠ ⁠ Why?⁠ ⁠ If you do not leave space on the edges where you paint the lightener you risk is squishing out the sides when processing and creating bleed marks on the hair left out of the foils from the expansion of the lightener as it works.
