I was listening to ‘Out’ by Olivia dean the other day. Great song. Led to a provoking but unwarranted thought. I realized that when I listen to sad-esque music I romanticize not just the illusion of that emotion but the way other people would potentially react to my experience of that hypothetical emotion. Seemingly odd. Right? Or no. Very odd? Odd. Let’s just go w ‘odd’. ..for the sake of my ego. I find it odd bc I’m not a very down in the dust type of person. Unless i am. Although, I don’t think i am. Im not. I used to do it a lot when i was a kid though. Never really understood why, or what it meant for that matter but we’re not mad about it. MOMMA AINT RAISE NO BI- She might have. Regardless, you probably reacted that way too. Remember staring out of the car window all sadgirl while listening to “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson? Thought so >;) We love relatability!
