Very siked! our new short film titled August 22, This Year has been selected for the 59th edition of Cannes Semaine de la Critique. Online and in person screening details coming soon! This film is a space for reflection of our shared present and the impact our individual choices have on one another. Although we made this film long before lockdown, it can’t be unseen through the lens of our new world. I hope that through this lens, it maintains our original intention, to show in some small way, that life can be beautiful, even through collective tragedy. Thank you to our small (periodically large) but dedicated team, close friends and family members who helped pull our tiny wagon of heavy film gear around town (literally and figuratively) and touched this project with their spirit, encouragement, and hard work, whom in the presence of, life is beautiful.
