JiaLing is a Taiwanese American DJ, producer, musician, and multidisciplinary artist. Born and raised in Baltimore, JiaLing was a classically trained cellist for 15 years before moving to New York in 2015. Releasing music under both JiaLing and the moniker Big J, they started an independent label “jjjjjjjj” in 2022. They currently have monthly residencies on Balamii (London) / Hyde FM (San Francisco) and are in local collectives Ayi Ayi (Brooklyn) and WOE (Baltimore).
