Replying to @Bimbodoll Many people learn what they think is acceptable by seeing what is socially acceptable, and then doing that out of fear of being shamed, ostrocized or critisized by their peers if they dont. I am not afraid or motivated by shame or criticism, I am motivated by critical analysis. And for people that live with the weight of shame and conformity, seeing someone who doesnt can unleash alot of misprojected anger. Ive had a woman yell at me on the street to put some clothes on because I dont have respect for myself. To me all I heard was “I have to hide my body to feel worthy of respect and its not fair that you dont!” Because there is always a deeper meaning behind what we say. #sexism #slutshamingiswrong
