Another angle of this Guest Suite sitting room. I color matched the green fabric that I wrapped on the walls, to this custom bookcase that I designed. I wanted it to blend and be seamless so that the color was the focal point of the room. I found the cabinet door knobs in a flea market in Italy. They are actually door knobs from the 1960s but I used them as center knobs for the cabinet doors. The woven leather chair I found in Bali, and is remarkably comfortable. The blush color carpet was originally an area rug that was woven in India. I loved it so much I had them make one for me that would completely cover the entire Guest Suite. It is so soft it feels like little pillows under your feet. The light is vintage murano from the 1940s, I also found it in Italy.
