I’ve finally figured out the “witching hour” in our home.📚If I pick up a stack of 10-12 library picture books between dinner and bedtime, and sit on the couch, I suddenly become surrounded by kids hungry for adventure. The squabbles and fights and running and hurting one another “on accident” come to a halt. The peace and quiet we all long for ensues. And I get to let my inner theatre child out and make all sorts of fun voice effects!! 🤣🤣Every 3 weeks we literally raid the library for 50-100 new books, and we lug them to the van, home onto the fireplace, and hungrily devour them over the next 3 weeks.
