I do this type of work on myself very frequently because sometimes we don’t know we need it, until we really need it. Psoas pain, pelvic floor pain or dysfunction, hip flexor tightness/burning are a few of many signs that your body is craving and begging for emotional release through hip therapy. This type of work is not just stretching and should not be done with stretching alone. It has to have a strengthening and mobilizing element of the hips, core and glutes to allow for a controlled release and muscle/mind support long after the work has been done.
