Just a little over five years ago, we started smashing wagyu ground beef from our family’s ranch in Los Olivos. What began as a way to make use of what we had became something bigger — a burger that carries the story of local agriculture, countless repetitions, and the support of a community that believed in us from the start. Last year, that story led to “Best Burger in Santa Barbara.” This year, we’d be honored to carry it forward again — and maybe add “Best Chicken Wings” to the mix. The wings, like the burger, are the result of trial, error, and oak from the ranch. Brined, smoked, fried — crispy skin and tender meat, with sauces we love. We’re in contention because of you.
