Officially hit that trifecta after the loss of my mother. She passed right before her favorite holidays, God knew she didn’t want to suffer through them and instead gets to celebrate in heaven with my grandpa. She loved thanksgiving, Christmas and her birthday and with her being so selfless, this was the day we all made no excuse on being too busy for her. Today has always been about her since I can remember and it’ll always be but this one, she’s on my mind some more. I don’t question God but I do wonder how she’s doing in heaven often and if she knows how much she’s still celebrated here. Today we still celebrate how we do, with family, coffee and Pan dulce from La panadería. Rip and happy birthday momma. I love you.
