Carhartt WIP Radio - December 2022⁠ ⁠ For this year’s last installment of Carhartt WIP Radio, we welcome UK record label @phantom.limb. The imprint was launched in 2017 by musician and producer @alilysings, along with some like-minded music enthusiasts, with the aim of bringing leftfield electronica to a wider audience. Now, the label covers a wide range of genres such as ambient, neo-classic, and hip hop, as well as indie rock, and minimal. Its ever-growing roster features artists like Loraine James, Kevin Richard Martin, and the Baltimore duo Infinity Knives. For this episode, Phantom Limb founder James Vella says he has created a mix that functions as a “bird’s eye view” for new listeners, while also highlighting some “deep cuts from the vaults” for existing fans.
