This was my 1st time benching serious in over a yr. I had stopped benching all together because it was too painful to tuck my legs underneath due to hip pain. After the 1st surgery by the time I could start benching again decent weight. It was time to have the 2nd surgery. My hips feel better and I think I might be able to reach my playing days bench of 470. Although I wasn’t benching for over a yr. I was doing heavy back, shoulders, delts, lats and core. Things that are essential for big bench presses. I will not sacrifice conditioning for a heavy bench tho. I believe I can achieve both or I’m going to give it one helluva try. #ShayBackInTheGymFrFr #DontMistakeHabitForHardWork
