My Very Own Lip Blush Journey 👄
Here are a couple of photos of what the 5 day healing process looked like for my lips.
Day 1: My lips were very bright immediately after the procedure. The colour also looked very different than the colour we had picked. My lips just felt like I was wearing a matte lipstick.
Day 4: My lips were going through the peeling phase. My lips were very dry and I was surprised at how little they peeled. The peeling also only lasted for 1 day and it was very light flaking.
Day 6: I am finished the initial healing phase. The colour has lightened and softened quite a bit and it will continue to change over the next 5 weeks. It is not until 6 weeks that I will see the final colour/result of my Lip Blush. This colour now on my lips resemble the colour we had picked for my tattoo.
Before: My lips had a nice shape but one side of my Cupid’s bow was higher than the other. This was corrected with the pre-draw.
My lips were very pale and had no colour to them. Now they have the perfect amount of colour. I love waking up and seeing the way my lips look in the morning. I used to wear lip liner and lipstick only sometimes on days that I didn’t want to wear a full face of makeup. This kinda looked weird to have full, colourful lips with liner but a bare face. Now my face without makeup and my lip tattoo look great together as the tattoo doesn’t look like lipstick but instead just really nice colour to my lips.
Shout out to @tesstattoo for doing my lips after me asking for her to work on me for forever. She killed it. I’m so happy have my technique executed on my lips now.
Another shout out to @sebpic_ @sebpiccinema for filming the whole lip blush appointment process. He is the most amazing videographer 🎥I can’t wait to share the final product for my clients and future clients.
What do you think of my lip blush results so far ?
