I’m not gonna lie, this birthday sucks for several reasons! Although I am grateful to be alive, my heart aches knowing that I won’t get that call from my dad in the morning like birthdays past. They say the firsts are the hardest to get thru; 1st Father’s Day(Barely made it thru that one), major holidays... Christmas I’m sure will be a pill because Christmas Eve is my dad’s AND Parker’s birthday 😩. It’s really challenging to be happy and celebrate my birthday when all I wanna do is talk to my dad and get some advice that I really need right now and to ask him how he feels only to have him reply “With my hands” lol.
