#throwbackthursday We extend a huge congratulations to Gurpreet Singh, a 24 year-old Sikh man, who has become the first observant Sikh American deputy to serve at the Seminole County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) and in the entire Central Florida region! "This is an important milestone for central Florida in the expansion of law enforcement officer diversity and in the acceptance of practicing Sikhs with turbans and beards in the profession.
