After what had been quite the weird/transformative/difficult year for me as I adjusted to my new roll as a mother and a domestic partner, I felt very strongly about shaking the dust off of my work boots & starting 2023 off doing what I love most...creating space for my community and the independent artists within it to gather and enjoy one another’s company in celebration of the fresh start that 2023 would be bringing us after a very turbulent 3 years. With only two weeks lead time and one week of promotional efforts in a market that had events hosted by the likes of Cardi B & Travis Scott on the same night, I was very nervous about what the outcome would be....but you guys showed up, showed OUT and reminded me that my work here is not done, even if I had to take some time off to learn how to do this whole mom thing for a bit 😅 Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who joined us for A Night In Wonderland at @surfcomberhotel for NYE 🙏🏼 I am inspired, rejuvenated and looking forward to many more special moments with you and 1AM this year 🤗🤞🏼🫶🏼
